What is a Kokedama

Kokedama is a style of Japanese bonsai made by taking your plant out of its pot and into a ball of soil held together with a unique soil mixture, moss and string. It is a living planter as well as a distinctive display piece and a sculptural art form.

How to water your Kokedama

Place your kokedama in the water, plant side up. Push the moss ball down so that it is fully submerged and begins to absorb water. Allow to soak for 10-25 minutes, or until fully saturated with water. Remove kokedama the water, and gently squeeze the moss ball to allow excess water to drain.

Don't be fooled by imitations

If it doesn't have the HS wooden tag, it's not a Homespun. Contact me to find out when the next Homespun Succulents are being sent to stockists.
